Youth Services is dedicated to serving children age 0-12. Our collection includes print books, DVDs, CDs, Book Kits, STEAM Kits, and digital resources to foster a lifetime love of reading. We offer a variety of programs and events throughout the year to keep children engaged and excited about learning.

STEAM Kits

You can explore the anatomy of the human heart, code a robot, or design a windmill with our circulating STEAM kits. The library has over 80 STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) Kits with interactive project materials and a learning guide.

The library has been circulating STEAM Kits since 2019 through generous grants from the Colleyville Woman’s Club. For a complete list of kits please visit the library's catalog.

StoryWalk®

A StoryWalk® is a new way to enjoy your favorite picture books. Instead of flipping through the pages, you’ll follow signs along a path to read the featured book. Each StoryWalk® includes an activity page and fun actions to get you moving and grooving as you read. The StoryWalk® will be changed seasonally, watch the website for updates on our upcoming StoryWalks®.
